Metadata Survey
OCLC is looking for metadata folks to take a survey.
OCLC is working on a project that would allow us to support different types of metadata schemes, not just MARC 21 and Dublin Core. We are currently gathering information about various schemes to determine which to crosswalk or translate. We are interested in gathering information from librarians who are responsible for creating or managing records for digital resources. Attached is a link to a brief survey with some questions concerning metadata schemes and digital resources. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey. If you are not responsible for creating or managing records for digital resources at your library, please feel free to pass this survey on to someone else at your library who handles digital resources. The survey will be open for responses until March 17, 2006.
