Punctuation
There was a discussion on AUTOCAT about ending punctuation in the 6XX fields and someone pointed to Final and Internal Punctuation prepared by Judith Hopkins. Worth bookmarking. It covers authority records as well as the bib records. Thanks Judith for preparing this and thanks to the person who pointed to it in their note.
Have I mentioned the value of AUTOCAT for all catalogers? Even if it is a bit overwhelming for someone in or just out of school, just read and soak it in. After a while more will make sense. It is one of the more important forums we have.
